September 11th Candlelight Remembrance8:30-10:30 am in our sanctuary Join us for a time of reflection and remembrance as we mark 25 years since the tragic events of September 11, 2001. On September 11, our sanctuary will be open to the community from 8:30–10:30 a.m. as a quiet space to remember, reflect, and pray. Come for a few moments or stay as long as you wish. You are invited to place a flag on the cross outside, light a candle in memory of a loved one, spend time in prayer, or pray with a member of our prayer team. Throughout the morning, our church bell will toll at significant moments from that day—once to mark each impact and three times to remember the fall of each tower. We remember those whose lives were lost, including the firefighters, law enforcement officers, paramedics, and countless others who gave of themselves in service to others. May we join together in prayer for peace and proclaim with one voice: We Remember. |

Women@CLP Gather for an Afternoon of Fellowship and Encouragement
“Abide in me, and I in you.” — John 15:4 What a wonderful afternoon we shared! On Saturday, August 29, 64 women of The Church at Litchfield Park gathered for the Women@CLP Abide Gathering—an afternoon filled with laughter, delicious food, meaningful conversations, and plenty of opportunities to connect. As we prepare to say goodbye to summer and step into a new ministry season, it was a gift to slow down, spend time together, and remember God’s faithfulness. Women had the opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, meet someone new, and enjoy the simple joy of being together. Our time together was centered around the theme of abiding in Christ. In the midst of busy schedules and all that comes with a new season, John 15:4 reminds us of where our strength comes from: “Abide in me, and I in you.” What a wonderful reminder as we look ahead to all God has in store for us this fall! A big thank you to everyone who helped make the afternoon so special! From the delicious food to the warm welcome and thoughtful conversations, it was a beautiful reminder of what makes our church community so special. If you weren’t able to join us this time, we hope you’ll come to the next Women@CLP gathering. Growing in Faith: Kids & Youth at CLP
There is something exciting happening at The Church at Litchfield Park—our kids and youth are growing! We’ve been blessed to welcome new faces, build new friendships, and see more young people becoming part of our church family. Our classrooms and youth gatherings are filled with laughter, learning, and opportunities to grow in faith. From Sunday mornings to special events and service opportunities, our kids and youth are discovering what it means to belong, serve, and follow Christ. We are especially grateful for the volunteers who give their time and hearts to encourage and invest in the next generation. Every lesson, conversation, prayer, and shared moment makes a difference. Our kids and youth aren't just the future of the church—they are an important part of the church right now! We are excited to see how God continues to work through them and grateful for the energy and joy they bring to CLP. For more infomation visit: |

Bible DriveMonth of September Throughout September, we are collecting new or gently used Bibles to place God’s Word into the hands of those who need it. Our primary focus is softcover Bibles for local prison ministry, where access to Scripture can offer hope, encouragement, and the life-changing truth of the gospel. We are also collecting hardcover Bibles to keep at the church and give to those who come through our doors without a Bible of their own. Please consider donating a Bible and helping us make Scripture readily available to our neighbors both inside and outside our church walls. Bring your Bibles to the sanctuary September 13, 20, or 27.
