Praise God, who has enriched us with spiritual and material blessings galore! What could happen in our church if we increased the share of God’s blessings that we return to him? Let’s seek the Lord and grow in our giving during our Stewardship Emphasis month, from Sept. 15 - Oct. 15.
Giving is a spiritual practice founded on the grace of Jesus, who enriched us all by giving His all. We are grateful for Jesus and for all God’s blessings. Let’s reflect on Scripture and consider how we contribute “according to our means:”
It is to your advantage, since you made a good start last year both in your giving and your desire to give, to finish what you started so that just as you wanted to do it eagerly, you can also complete it according to your means. 2 Corinthians 8:10-11
During our annual pledge campaign, let’s pray for faith to increase the percentage of our income that we give to God.
