Co-Mission Camp 2025: Youth Serving in Love, Growing in Faith, and Living on Mission

This past week, The Church at Litchfield Park had the joy of walking alongside 46 youth during our annual Co-Mission Camp, a week designed to cultivate servant-hearted leadership, Christ-centered identity, and missional living. With the support of dozens of dedicated volunteers, our young people spent five meaningful days growing in faith, serving others with love, and engaging in God's mission right here in our community.

From packing meals at Feed My Starving Children, to preparing lunches, sewing pillows, crafting walker caddies, and assembling hygiene kits for local organizations, our students lived out 1 Peter 4:10—using their gifts to serve others. They worshiped together, reflected on Scripture, and were challenged to consider what it means to follow Jesus through quiet acts of compassion and bold steps of obedience.

The week concluded with a sanctuary clean-up project, brunch celebration, and a special visit from Bob Solis, founder of Open Arms, reminding us all that greatness is found in the little things—perseverance, faithfulness, and choosing to serve even when no one is watching.

Thank you to every parent, volunteer, and supporter who prayed, showed up, led, cleaned, cooked, encouraged, and helped make this week possible. You played a vital role in equipping our students to become servant leaders with missional mindsets.

We are grateful—and excited to see how God continues to use this next generation for His glory!
